News: The 7th Consortium Meeting – ready for the project’s next steps
Despite the continuing restrictions imposed by the COVID crisis, the 7th AgriLink Consortium meeting was another success. More than 30 representatives of the project consortium met on-line between 1-3 February 2021, to present the results of the project, debate various issues and plan forthcoming actions.
Key issues taking centre-stage of the meeting were the 26 Regional Multi-Actor Seminars currently being organised; the Socio-Technical Scenario workshops to be held in the coming months; synthesis of the learning outcomes of the Living Labs; a policy-makers’ workshop, and; the on-going preparation of Practice Abstracts (88 from a total of 135 have already been published on the EIP-AGRI website).
“Not surprisingly, the main challenge remains keeping up with all planned activities and deadlines during the ongoing pandemic”, explained Pierre Labarthe, the Project Co-ordinator. “Most of our face-to-face events have been moved on-line, but this has also been a great source of inspiration and innovation since we must approach and engage our stakeholders with new interactive tools and methods of direct involvement”.
Another important topic of discussion were the proposals for transforming the current website (www.agrilink2020.eu) into a ‘legacy’ website for the long-term promotion and sharing of project results. This will include the introduction of various new features to improve the visibility and accessibility of the project results for relevant target audiences.
The next Consortium Meeting is planned for July 2021 in Riga, Latvia. Fingers are crossed that it can be organised face-to-face!
